I hope this finds you all well and keeping warm. Ensure you have plenty of supplies of your inhalers, back pocket scripts if required and most importantly you have had your flu vaccine.

Remember the flu vaccine is free if you have a long term condition such as Asthma and COPD.

The team has recently been through some changes with the departure of Sharyn our administrator. The team are missing her immensely. Then the board completed a restructure of the organisation. Sadly Amber tendered her resignation and has also left. I wish both Sharyn and Amber all the very best in their next ventures.

Jo, Debbie and I have been busy with business as usual although we do have a new contract with Health Hawke’s Bay rather than with the DHB. The new contract does have a focus on Tamariki. Debbie who coordinates the Asthma Friendly Programme has been busy with educating schools around the district.

Esme our voluntary administrator has very kindly stepped into the role of administrator until the appointment of a Practice Manger occurs. Her skills at the front desk have been invaluable for Jo, Debbie and I.

Remember to call us if you have any questions or would like a review.
